You won’t always know when your car’s battery has reached the end of its lifespan, and sometimes we leave lights on, or doors open and batteries run out of juice — it happens. And when it does, Battery Service is an excellent way to be sure you’re never left stranded.
Whether you have problems starting your car when the temperature gets low or you simply realized that your car’s battery is getting old, replacing the battery is a good way to keep your car going. Your car’s battery is important and you need to make sure that it’s working well. If it’s time to replace the battery, there are some things to keep in mind.
Keep in mind that batteries lose power over time. Because of this, it’s smart to get a battery that hasn’t been sitting on the shelf at the store for years. In general, it’s suggested that you get a battery that has been in the store for six months or less. When you look at a battery, there are letters and numbers, which indicate the manufacturing date. A stands for January, B for February, and so on. On top of that, there is a digit that indicates the year. If the battery starts with A6, it was manufactured in January, 2016. This code is usually engraved on the battery cover.
